The position of Finance Director (gn) is available as soon as possible at our headquarters in Fulda, Germany, or in a hybrid model.

Your Role

• Overall responsibility for financial processes, including planning, reporting, annual financial statements (HGB), liquidity management, order management, and contract activation
• Further development and optimization of financial structures, processes, and systems
• Financial evaluation of investments and support for M&A projects
• As part of the Finance Leadership Team, you will act as a sparring partner for our Group CFO in business, financial, and tax matters
• As part of the Business Unit Management Team at Proemion GmbH, you will contribute to its overall economic responsibility
• Leadership, motivation, and development of our team of approximately 8 people
• Management of cooperation with external partners such as auditors, banks, insurance companies, etc.

Your Skills

• Degree in economics with a focus on finance, accounting, or controlling
• Several years of professional experience in a management position in the financial sector, ideally in an international software/technology environment
• In-depth knowledge of HGB (German Commercial Code) and experience with annual financial statements, budget planning, and reporting processes; IFRS/US GAAP would be an advantage
• Strong analytical skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and ability to get things done
• Leadership skills and strong communication skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
• Very good knowledge of common ERP systems (SAP) and BI/planning tools (e.g., Power BI, LucaNet, Tableau)
• Strong communication skills in German and English
